A target level of collected balances is calculated for the operating account. Cass will determine this target for you if you want to avoid service charges and other fees. Otherwise, you set the target. Once this target is determined, our system will initiate daily transfers to or from the operating account to maintain the target level set for that account. Funds transferred from the operating account are first used to pay down the loan, and then invested if surplus funds remain. Conversely, the investment account will be brought to a zero balance before an advance is made on the line of credit to fund the operating account.
